Virtue Labs

We met Virtue before it existed. The founder had a remarkable, first-of-its-kind technology leveraging pure human keratin, and she was looking to create a hair care platform with the potential to disrupt the $68 billion hair care industry. 

With a small but mighty team, we built a brand from the ground up – products and packaging, identity and website, channel and launch strategy, and a host of activation initiatives including targeted seeding campaigns, influencer strategies, and multi-touch digital media.   

Virtue had grown from indie startup to a fixture on retail shelves and red carpets around the world.

Apple & Eve

What happens when the maker of America’s favorite juice box gets squeezed at retail? 

Despite being the #1 juice box in the U.S., Apple & Eve had its challenges: a declining category, a shrinking retail shelf, and an ever-expanding array of competitive products with copy-cat messaging. 

We helped Apple & Eve develop an ownable brand platform that authentically connected with its key audience – busy, nurturer moms and dads – helping to establish the brand as the go-to family favorite for good-for-you juices.

Edgewell Personal Care

Edgewell Personal Care – makers of Banana Boat and Hawaiian Tropic – was looking to rethink the traditional approach to sun care category education in order to drive usage, increase HH penetration and spearhead category innovation. 

Though research, audience segmentation and market sizing, we uncovered a key opportunity to grow the category by targeting outdoor exercisers. 

Educational “Run More. Burn Less.” messaging was delivered before and during running/walking-related activities providing inspiration and tailored sun care education that drove new customers into retail doors.
