Let's Cross That Bridge

ABOUT US

We are a small team of hands-on strategists, innovators, creatives and marketers, with an insatiable curiosity and an aversion to the status quo. We approach every project with fresh eyes, strategic rigor, and a passion for turning good to great. We work directly with brands as well as with private equity firms and agencies. Let us know how we can help!

Kristen Doyle

Kristen Doyle

Partner

Kristen believes that within every person, product, and company there’s an extraordinary story waiting to be told, and these thoughtful, strategic narratives have the power to change the way we think, feel and behave.

After a first career in corporate finance, Kristen earned her M.B.A from Columbia Business School and found her calling in marketing and entrepreneurship. She joined Unilever as a brand developer and the rest is history.

Kristen has spent the last 15 years mining for insights, uncovering market opportunities, crafting stories, creating products (nearly 40 and counting), and building brand identities. She’s reinvigorated classic brands like Q-Tips, Ponds and Vaseline, fueled challengers like Sedu and StriVectin, and brought new brands like Virtue Labs into the world.

When she’s not in the office, Kristen can be found on a mountain top in a national park, trendspotting in NYC, tossing a ball out back or enjoying a home-made meal with her husband and four children.

Matt Jacobs

Matt Jacobs

Partner

Matt believes equally in the power of big creative ideas and well-executed media plans, and that the greatest moments of impact are achieved when the right message gets delivered to the right person in the right format at the right time.

Matt most recently founded the NYC office for AMP Agency, a fully owned subsidiary of Advantage Solutions, where he grew the geography from 0 to 45 full-time employees and $0 to $50M in annual revenue in less than five years. He started his career at AMP as an intern despite having accidentally dyed his hair firetruck red days prior to the interview.

Matt has led teams in the development and execution of multimillion-dollar omni-channel marketing campaigns for leading Fortune 500 brands including TJX, L’Oréal, Edgewell Personal Care, John Hancock and Hasbro. His last few years at AMP afforded him the opportunity to lead an equity investment into Virtue Labs at a pre-revenue (and pre-brand) stage where he took on a role as a key strategic advisor to the business.

Now almost fully recovered from agency burnout, Matt can often be found exploring playgrounds with his family in the Upper West Side, floating in a sensory deprivation tank, or all too often, lost on the Internet having somehow stumbled onto an obscure Wikipedia page.
